Partnering for Impact - Short Form Application Instructions (Not Applicable)

The Partnering For Impact (PFI) fund is flagship initiative under the Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Roadmap 2025 supporting social enterprises, not-for-profit and/or community organisations including charities to create meaningful social change. Delivered by Queensland Treasury’s Office of Social Impact (OSI), PFI aims to provide repayable funding to help eligible applicants to deliver proposals that amplify their social impact.

Instructions

  1. Before completing this short form application, please read the Partnering for Impact Guidelines (the Guidelines) for more information. The Guidelines, along with Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and key dates are available on the PFI Fund web page.
  2. Save your progress at any time to return and complete the application later.
  3. Complete all mandatory fields (*) as submission is not possible without a response to these.
  4. Provide accurate and truthful information, as per the accompanying Guidelines.
  5. Answer all eligibility questions where required. You are not required to provide supporting documentation at this stage*.

As outlined in the Guidelines, OSI has been working with the philanthropic community to enhance social impact in Queensland.   Philanthropic organisations may express an interest in connecting with successful and/or unsuccessful PFI Applicants, to explore potential collaboration and support.  

Should this occur, OSI will facilitate the opportunity to connect with philanthropic organisations by providing them with information from your application, including personal information, subject to your consent (see below).

Please note the following with respect to information sharing with philanthropic organisations:

Voluntary Participation: Participation in this opportunity is entirely voluntary, and your decision will not affect your eligibility for PFI, or any future funding opportunities administered by OSI.

No Guarantee of Engagement or Support: Providing consent does not guarantee that you will be contacted or receive support from philanthropic organisations. These organisations act independently and are not affiliated with OSI, Queensland Treasury, or the State.

    Please read and familiarise yourself with the Guidelines (Link Required) prior to starting an application to PFI.

    Things to consider before you commence this Expression of Interest (EOI):

    1.  Is the total funding requirement for your Proposal greater than $2.5 million (based on minimum PFI funding of $500,000 and limit for PFI of 20% of the Proposal Funding Requirement? (see Guidelines section 4.6 and Glossary)
    2.  Is the funding requested 20% or less of the Proposal Funding Requirement?
    3.  Will the Proposal result in sustainable financial outcomes including capacity to repay finance from third parties?
    4.  Do the proposed funding sources for the Proposal including at least 1 unrelated external funder in addition to the potential PFI funding?
    5.  Are you able to demonstrate there is a funding gap that other funders are unlikely to meet?
    6.  Is there a high probability that your proposal can be operational by December 2027?
    7.  Do you operate in Queensland with a physical presence in Queensland?
    8.  Will your proposal deliver new or additional high social impact in Queensland?
    9.  Do you meet all eligibility criteria for applicants?
    10.  Does the social impact that your proposal will generate align with the impact areas in the Guidelines?

    If you answered no to any of the above questions, please review the Guidelines and consider if the PFI is suitable for your organisation at this time before completing this EOI application.
